Serendipity Online Marketing Ltd is based near to Hereford in the lovely village of Eaton Bishop, the operation being run from a home office. This offers many advantages, the greatest of which is that our staff all have the advantage of working from home too. It cuts costs down too, which means we can do more for less, something that our customers really appreciate.

Running the entire operation is a chap called Graham Baylis, a real 'old timer' in the Internet world, having first got involved way back in 1994 when he set up one of the first Intranets in the UK for AT&T in Redditch. He then branched into Internet Marketing in 1999 when he started helping businesses run their Pay Per Click campaigns. Organic Search Optimisation followed a couple of years later. Since then he has steered SOM through all the changes in the online market place, ensuring that it continually evolves, adding new products and tweaking procedures as needed.

	Research & Blogging Department Heather Baylis runs the research department, carrying out the detailed keyword research as well as managing the linking section.
	Copy Writing and Online Press Releases Al has years of working in the copy writing and press release fields. He has that 'magic touch' when it comes to words.
	Social Media Department Sheila Stacey handles this vital area as well as running the Finances of SOM.
	The 'Ghostly Support Army' Sometimes there is specialist copy to write, or there's a problem on a site which involves databases, video or css etc. In these cases we turn to our 'ghostly support' army, a group of persons and companies who we know we can trust to help and solve the problem. In all such cases we handle the project mangement etc, thus minimising the effect on our customer.

More About the SOM set up

Whilst it is true that SOM runs from a home office environment, it is really quite a high tech operation.....

In the main office you will find three machines, each one caring for a different area of works, all being carefully protected by firewalls and fed via uninterruptible stabilised power supplies.

In the event of power failure we have generators to keep our systems running and if the phone lines go down there's our mobile phones and mobile broadband dongles waiting to take over the load.

Data backups are also well catered for, copies of all documents being saved as and when they are produced with weekly off site back ups in case of a major disaster.

Our workers, each based in their own home offices are similarly protected, so as you can see, for a small operation, SOM really does have it all covered.
